The Bland Group have recently purchased Griffon Hovercraft Ltd and increased its ownership of Hovertravel Ltd and Hoverwork Ltd from 25% to 99.92%. As from the 1st April 2009 Griffon Hovercraft Ltd and Hoverwork Ltd have merged to become Griffon Hoverwork Ltd (GHL).

With the merger Griffon Hoverwork Ltd can now boast designing and manufacturing the largest range of amphibious, diesel-engined hovercraft available in the world today, with payloads ranging from 380kgs to 22.5 tonnes (5-180 personnel), capable of cruising at 25-45 knots with a full payload. As well as having the financial backing to increase production of its range as well as invest into research and development of new models.
From its design, production and servicing teams, Griffon Hoverwork Ltd provides a full before-sales and after-sales support. GHL offers training for pilots and crews, the supply of all spare parts as well as service support, refits and a general after-sales service.
