380TD

The Griffon 380TD is the smallest craft in the Griffon range, capable of carrying 6 persons or a payload of 380kgs (837lbs) over a variety of surfaces at high speed. This rugged rigid-inflatable hovercraft is propelled by a VW diesel engine while a Briggs & Stratton diesel engine provides the lift and is built specifically to undertake work boat duties.

Manufactured in a combination of aluminium and composite (FRP) materials, the 380TD is ideally suited to applications such as crash rescue, survey, dredging and civil engineering support, mud and weed sampling, pipeline inspection, military and paramilitary duties.

With the optional hover-on hover-off road trailer, one person can quickly and easily transport and operate this unique vessel virtually anywhere. The low-noise 380TD will accomplish almost any task performed by a conventional boat of the same size, but it will operate where no boat can venture - over land, shallow water, sandbanks, mudflats, ice, snow, weed, logs, debris and rapids. It will operate equally well from unprepared beaches, riverbanks and fields as it will from harbours, piers and pontoons.

Griffon Hoverwork Ltd provides full training for new customers (only one day per pupil is normally required) as well as full after-sales support. The Griffon 380TD is serviced and maintained very simply and economically, yet it is the most advanced hovercraft of its size available in the world today.
