Like all vehicles, hovercraft require regular servicing and maintenance to ensure their smooth operation. Our support model is built around enabling our customers and/or product support partners to provide local, engineering support to maximise the value provided. Our UK team of support engineers are set up to provide training, engineering advice and management support rather than scheduled maintenance or repair capability (albeit this is available if requested). As far as possible, our mission is to enable our customers to maintain their craft at their operating base albeit major refits are conducted in the UK, at our specialist offshore refit yard in India or at a local shipyard.
We aim to work with our customers to ensure spares parts are available when they are needed. Some components are lifed and need to be inspected and maintained as part of a maintenance plan. We provide scheduled maintenance kits in advance of when they are needed as long as our customers give us an understanding of their intended usage. We also provide full scalings of depot and on board spares when a craft is ordered so that our customers have items that they need in country.
Griffon Hoverwork provide 12 months warranty as standard, during which we offer close support to identify and solve any engineering issues. Beyond this, we aim to maintain a proactive support relationship with our customers.
